It is with humble thanks that Century Audio Visual announces it has been nominated for the
2020 Sam McCallion Community Involvement Award.
Sam McCallion, the late husband of Mississauga’s beloved former Mayor, Hazel McCallion, was a lifelong volunteer. The Sam McCallion Award recognizes a volunteer who has made a difference in the life of an individual, the community or society. It personifies McCallion’s philosophy of community service, humility, compassion, dedication and persistence.
Last year, the Century AV Team embarked on a mission: To make 2019 the Year of Giving. We set the bar high! We donated gift baskets, volunteered, operated AV gear for events, helped with committee planning, served food, golfed, supported a dance fundraiser, sponsored a paddle team, pool team and dancer. We even paddled. We did it all! Thank you to every member of the Century Audio Visual Team. Your support made a difference to our neighbours in the surrounding community.
It is such an honour to be counted among the amazing people nominated for this year’s Sam McCallion Community Involvement Award. Century Audio Visual would also like to thank Nurse Next Door, Mississauga, for nominating us for this most prestigious award.
